Describe why you are proud to be an ROA member.

“I am proud to be a Life Member of this premier proponent of all the Reserve Component Forces. ROA has for over 100 years worked to ensure those forces were appropriately manned, trained and equipped too fulfill their assigned missions. Their advocacy has ensured that the Guard and reserve forces have been modernized with equipment on par with the active components.”

Describe how ROA has benefitted you in your military career.

“My involvement in ROA has enabled me to stay current on the issues all reserve forces face in the ever-changing "landscape" of our nation's national defense. Beyond the issues, I have been permitted to attend functions where I listened to presentations by senior military leaders, ask questions of them and interact directly with them. This networking paid benefits to me as a reservist and also a civilian.”
