The ROA UPORFA CONGRESS will be held from 21, 22, and 23 September in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
**NOTE: To be able to arrive in time for the Ice Breaker event on 20 September, you will want to depart from the United States on 19 September. This year, LTG Jodi Daniels, US Army Reserve Commander, will be joining us. Our Congress is scheduled with a Gala, tours, events and activities for significant value of our unity of efforts, camaraderie, and entertainment to enjoy the beautiful city of Buenos Aires. Likewise, lots of activities are set for your spouses or companions such as tours and other activities.
Tentative Schedule - Wednesday, September 20, 2023 - Smart casual attire.
- Welcome Opening Reception (afternoon). - Thursday, September 21, 2023 - Uniform: AGSU/ASU or equivalent.
- 0800/1600 – Opening Ceremony/Congress/Country Presentations (Lunch Included).
- Evening – Free time. Optional tango and folk music shows. - Friday, September 22, 2023 - Uniform: AGSU/ASU or equivalent. (Gala Dinner: ASU or Mess Dress).
- 0800/1600 Congress/Country Presentations (Lunch included).
- 1930/2330 Gala Dinner. - Saturday, September 23, 2023 – Uniform: AGSU/ASU or equivalent.
- 0900/1300 - Visit to a Military Unit/Closing Ceremony. (Lunch TBC). Registration Fees:
- Military/Civilian Participants: $410.00
- Spouse/Significant Other: $295.00 includes one day tour.
- Note: Includes airport transfer and hotel to/from events/activities, opening reception, lunch, and Gala dinner.
Deadline: Registration will close Monday, September 11, 2023, at midnight (eastern).
Hotel/Lodging Options
Note: Bus transportation to/from Congress events will be from the below-listed hotels only.
Rate: Single - $158/night or Double - $174.50/night. Rate includes a breakfast buffet. This is a group rate offered to US attendees and is contingent upon reserving a minimum of 10 rooms. Rates will increase approximately $20 if the minimum is not attained.
How to Reserve: While registering for the meeting, you will 1) indicate you will stay at the Sheraton; 2) provide your arrival and departure dates; and 3) pay a deposit equal to one-night’s stay.
